This is the one EB class that is described also by Rakov.
In 1915 the Russian Railway Delegation travelled to Great Britain,France and USA trying to purchase
new locomotives to help the acute motive power shortage in Russian Railways.
In France the Belgian Government in exile sold number of at that moment useless ( locomotives were
too heavy to be used on Paris-Orleans Railway rails ) heavy 1E-h4 locomotives to Russia.
At least the following locomotives were sold with French War Loan to Russia.

How many locomotives were actually sold and how many
locomotives reached Russia remains a mystery even today.
Some which went to Russia were captured by the Poles at
Kiev in 1919 and sent to Poland and eventually returned to
Belgium.Later this class was used also in Transcaucasus.
