Could you pick up from the following list those MIDI 1B-2 and " Bourbonnais " C-n2 locomotives which are marked Saloniki 1919 -> Odessa. They were sent by the French to Odessa during the Russian Civil War in 1919 to support the interventing French Army in Southern Ukraine and the White Russian Army operating in Southern Russia against the Bolsheviks.

I have read the Memories of Russian White General Denikin who wrote them in his refugee years in Belgrad. He described that the French locomotives were used on Odessa-Zhmerinka-Lwow line which the Austrians had regauged to standard gauge in 1918.Thus some might have ended into the Polish hands as they took the northern part of this line in April 1919 under their control.
